Country Case Studies on Indonesia and Egypt
In the face of rising challenges for, and mixed experiences with, water sector capacity development, the Symposium addresses who is taking the lead in knowledge and capacity development across sectors, disciplines and other boundaries so it can be leveraged to become more effective and efficient. A number of case studies explore this issue in-depth in specific national contexts. These country case studies have tried to generate insights into the dynamics and functioning of the water sector in a number of countries. Such insights can serve as a basis for learning from the approaches that have been taken by various stakeholders in national contexts in their efforts to develop high quality, relevant and sustained capacity for the wellfunctioning of the water sector. This session focuses on Indonesia and Egypt.
